There's a new year

Happy new year

I got, as a Christmas gift, a book that I had wanted for years. Then it reminds me of everything else, how 2008 had been good to me. I had my first step on foreign soil (including the first touch of real snow), my company must have recognised my skills, and Yas and I added another year to love. Of course there are more.

However, I discovered that passing each of those recent 366 days is not as easy as 367 days ago. The past year I met real tests of my personality. They are things that define a character, both personal and professional. I felt values that I learned from my parents and faith are increasingly being tested. Though for so many times I felt I failed the tests, I still hope I didn’t. After all, I had one of my favorite years.

When 2008 is bad for you but you can still surf and read this, perhaps you’re ok. It’s something you can start on. There’s a new year.

Hope you’ll have happy days ahead.
